What types of organizations are eligible for coverage with HCCIS?

Hospices, home health care agencies, and healthcare agencies providing domestic services or “home aide providers” are insured under our program. Franchisees of the following home aide organizations are currently qualified for our insurance program:

What coverages are available?

We offer a Professional and General Liability package policy, Directors and Officers Liability, Automobile, Excess Liability, Property, and Crime. 

Am I able to secure coverage through my local insurance agent, or do I access your program directly?

You may secure the services of your local agent, or you may secure coverage directly through Glatfelter Insurance Group.

Are you licensed to write coverage in all states? 

With a few exceptions in Hawaii, we are licensed in all fifty states.

Who is your insurance carrier?

American Alternative Insurance Corporation  (AAIC), an admitted affiliate of Munich Reinsurance America. Inc. AAIC has an A.M. Do you offer premium financing?

Although we don’t offer premium financing through Glatfelter Insurance Group, we do offer premium payments on installments based on the amount of your total annual policy premiums.  If your annual premiums total $2500 or more, you are eligible for installment payments.  If you’re securing coverage through your local agent, he can generally put you in touch with a premium financing company.  

Is Hired and Nonowned Automobile Liability coverage available? 

Yes, coverage is available if you qualify.  Coverage is available by endorsement on our Hospice and Home Health Care Liability Coverage Form. There is an additional premium charge for this coverage.

What coverage is provided under your Directors and Officers Liability policy? 

We provide Directors and Officers Liability as well as Employment Practices Liability under this policy.

Do you offer medical malpractice coverage for physicians? 

Although we do not offer individual policies for physicians or physician groups, we do include physicians as Additional Insureds under our Hospice and Home Health Care Liability Coverage policy while they are working on behalf of the hospice or home health care agency.  However, every such physician must be specifically endorsed by name on each policy for coverage to apply.
